Went in 2019 after visiting Prague and it was grungy, sketchy and the locals were cold as fuck. It has been the cheapest place I’ve visited and surprisingly the best hostel experience but I would not go back.

Take the ferry to north Williamsburg, walk the waterfront promenade to domino park. Get a gelato at Gentile. I would skip Times Square, it’s a nightmare right now. The 911 museum is somber but it’s worth seeing the the oculus and the architecture downtown is some of the oldest and most beautiful in the city. Have a great time!
1: Watch the world’s only twice daily cattle drive. The Fort Worth Stockyards cattle drive is one of the best free things to do in Fort Worth. The cattle drive in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards is one of the most popular free activities in Fort Worth.
Takes all of 10 minutes to see so it's not great value time wise. But it is important history wise and there are some lovely works of art alongside the bones. Plus it has been very well restored and there is accompanied music by local composers which is a nice touch. Don't be put off by the surrounding construction, it's still worth a visit.
