Sam B: Always a solid pick, my favorite character in all games and even better than he was in the main game. John Morgan: Easily the best character in this game without argument. His lightning kick ability is busted and can knock down any non special enemy and send then flying (this can often kill). He has an ability to heal from critical hits
Logan was mediocre, at best. He was a lot better than Xian due to his ranged. It gave him a lot more options to soften up hard encounters as well as giving him an early edge against Thugs. Lesser skilled players (those who can't jump backwards with good timing) could find solace in his throwing ability.Playing through as Xian at 71% story progress. Gonna pick Sam B, next. I think Sam B is the best character stats wise (not to mention he probably has the easiest start), so that's who I would pick as the "preferred" character. However, my favorite is probably Xian since well, electric katanas are pretty awesome.
