The 2 cars are quite different. The 340i sounds great and is really quick. Its a joy to drive and even returned some respectable fuel consumption when driven sensibly. The 330d is arguably the best all rounder. Is super reliable and great on fuel. I think the 330d will hold better resale value as well.

yes, you might need to buy and bolt on some extra hangers, and you'll need a reducer right at the front end as the 335 DP is 3" and the 330 is 2.5", but otherwise it'll all fit just fine. Saloon and Estate exhausts are the same. Coupe and convertible are also the same, but different to the saloon/estate. Appreciate 0.
