Vivofit 4 not updating time and date. bizorra over 3 years ago. I finally changed the batteries on my Vivofit. It seems to sync ok with the app but the time and date won't update! I can change the watch face, set alarms, change which widgets shown in the menu but the time and date still won't sync. Incorrect Date on Forerunner 45 watch. My garmin watch is synced to my phone. Today I was checking something on one of the other apps on my phone and set the date ahead by 1 day (from 19th of April to 20th of April). In the background the watch synced with the phone and the date on the watch, updated to the 20th of April. However, I found another possibility to reset the date settings on my watch. Press and hold down the MENU button. Go to „System“ Settings. Go to „Time“. Set the time to manual. Synchronise with the Garmin App. Now reset the time to automatic and synchronise again.
