The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 combines expensive-looking and -feeling materials, flawless build and finish, and utterly engrossing sound to serve up one of the best value wireless over-ear headphones
The PX7 S2 will keep you immersed in premium Bowers & Wilkins sound quality for up to 30 hours off a single charge. And if you’re low on power, just fifteen minutes of charging gives you up to seven hours of listening. Premium design, perfect fit. They’ve been crafted for comfortable, extended listening, with luxurious memory foam earpads
P7 and P5 Wireless are probably the last headphones Bowers & Wilkins made before it was acquired by some home automation company in California (that recently sold it further to Sound United). IMO, not just the headphones, but B&W sound quality across all products has gone down since the first acquisition. 5. Thin_Yogurt_mec.
Bowers & Wilkins has bucked the trend of introducing new-and-improved noise-canceling headphones while also increasing its price; the new PX7 S2 cost exactly the same as the PX7 when they were introduced several years ago. And in this day-and-age where there are more high-end noise-canceling headphones than ever before, $400 for the PX7 S2
Bowers & Wilkins did a great job as a successor to the PX. Wow. Compared to the Sony WH1000Xm3’s the PX7 falls short in noise cancelling, comfort and a customizable sound from an app EQ. This is super imprecise measurement, but on the P7 the depth of the ear cup is ~2cm. On the PX7 the driver is angled significantly. On one side (back of head) the depth is ~2.5cm, but on the other side of the cup (front of head) the depth is ~1.5cm. My ears are small, so my ear doesn't touch the padding at all. bFeSsJ3.
